Tony Lewis
  5th Degree Black Belt - Chief Instructor

Tony Lewis began his martial arts training in January 1991. He reached his 1st degree Black Belt under Troy Eden in August, 1993 and received his 5th Degree Black Belt in 2005. Mr. Lewis trains in Taekwondo under Master Robert Hardin (8th Degree Black Belt) and Mr. Louie Aregis (6th Degree Black Belt), also trains in Hopkido with Master Chris Garland   Mr. Lewis is the owner and Chief instructor of Dickson Taekwondo, which he purchased in January of 1995. In 1997 he built a new facility and added a sand filled volleyball court in 1999 for extra curricular activities.

Mr. Lewis was a designer at Southern Gage, which he resigned from to become a full time instructor. He is married with three children. He is a former member of Lions Club. He enjoys fishing and hunting. He has had three students who have opened schools of their own. Mr. Lewis has been honored as “CTF Instructor of The Year” multiple times. Mr. Lewis is a Choong Sil Kwon champion and USTL sparring champion. Mr. Lewis's students consistently place in the top 3 spots in sparring and katas (forms) in State and National competitions.
                Mr. Lewis is a graduate of the Dickson County Chamber of commerce Leadership Program and is a Board Member for the Leadership Program. Mr. Lewis is also Vice President of the Child Advocacy Board.

Mr. Lewis’s son Lucius is a 3rd Degree Black Belt and CTF National champion.

               Mr. Kevin Martinko has been training under Mr. Lewis since 1995 and is a 2nd Degree Black Belt & has been a state employee for 22 years. 

Mr. Dan Herbison is a 2nd Degree Black Belt & the Weapons Instructor.

Mr. Larry Moulton is a 2nd Degree Black Belt  and is a CTF National Champion.

           Several more ladies and gentlemen are in the Assistant Instructor Training Program. All assistant instructors are excellent and dedicated
to our students.

Mr. Lewis & Mr. Martinko have both worked with youths at risk. Mr. Lewis has given seminars to P.E.  and Health classes in Dickson County and East Hickman schools.
